Traditions is located in the rolling hills of Northern Kentucky. Rich in natural abundance, wildflowers and beautifully architected golf, the club is a great retreat. The bent-on-bent is very well maintained, and the course’s rolling terrain can make for some challenging golf. Large undulating greens and tight heavy rough mandates that the golfer keeps focused (74.4 rating). The course plays tough but is fair and good approach shots respond well into these ideal greens. Well spread out, rarely are other holes even seen and the mature surrounding forest reflects a feeling of isolation. The Traditions is a well-rounded club with a strong balance of championship golf and amenities which include: clubhouse, 15 acre practice facility, restaurant, banquet area and a bar.
Since its opening in 1992, Traditions has consistently been recognized as one of the premier places to play in the Greater Cincinnati Area. For many years, the club has been tabbed by Golf Digest as one of the top-10 courses in all of Kentucky. It’s also been home to many prestigious amateur events such as the Kentucky Amateur, the Greater Cincinnati Golf Association Metro Championship, numerous USGA qualifiers and in 2012, the Kentucky Open.
